Changes to my study program

Hello everyone! Today I am going to talk about  changes to my study program, though I find it difficult to write about this topic. To start, I know that the university is hard and a great step in our lives, but I also think there are a lot of things that could change for the better, for example, the curriculum or the subjects that we have to study. I think some subjects are not that necessary (I do not want to say what they are). In my opinion, they waste time and energy from us, plus many of them are not useful for our careers. Sometimes they even send a lot of boring and large homework, increasing the workload too. Another thing that I would change is not to wait until a specific month to do all the tests (sometimes we have three tests of different subjects in only a week). I do not think it is fair that I have to pay for each plastic tooth that I break during the simulation activities. I try to be very careful while I am using the tools, but the teeth are way too fragile. Fina

Time Travel to the Future or Past

Hello everyone! Today I am going to talk about  Time Travel to the Future or Past. First of all, this is certainly not a topic I would choose to talk about, and that is because I prefer to live the present fully, and I really like how it is my present and the things that I do. If I had to choose between traveling to the future or the past, I would choose the future, because as I said earlier I really like my present and I would not change anything, but knowing how will be the future seems very interesting. To know how will be my life (especially with the work), how advanced is the technology and humanity, or maybe If we find a solution to stop climate change or a cure for cancer. If I could travel to the future, first I would go ten years later to know if I end up working as a dentist or as a truck driver (If I can not find work). After that, I am not sure about what year I would like to go, there are a lot of possibilities and I would spend too much time looking at all of th

My dream job

Hello everyone! Today I am going to talk about my dream job. To start, when I was a child, I wanted to become a firefighter and later a truck driver, because they work outdoors, travel to other parts of the country (I really like to travel, especially to the South) plus I used to really like trucks back then, but as I got older, my dream job changed, and I wanted to be a dentist (now I am a second year student of dentistry at the University of Chile) because oral health is really important to society as well, and is something many people lack in that zone (there is a high poverty level). I do not think that I will travel a lot in my job, but I would like to move to the south of the country and work as a dentist there and maybe build my own clinic in a little and quiet town or city. On the other hand, I have not really thought about specializing, so it is something I will have to decide in the future. Finally, If I do not find work as a dentist or if I can´t build my own clinic, I cou

The Best Concert ever

Hello! Today I´m going to talk about The Best Concert ever. First, I have to clarify that I've never gone to or been in a concert in my life for different reasons, but I can tell you about a Soda Stereo concert that I really like. This concert was on October 19, 2007, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and belonged to the American tour “Me Veras Volver” (it was the last album recorded live by the band). It started on October 19 and finished on December 21, 2007, at the River Plate Stadium, Argentina. The band performed in eight different countries during the tour: Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, the United States, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela and Peru. I chose this concert because me and my family really like this band (with its rock style music), and it was one of the most attended concerts in that country, with over 70.000 spectators. Also, it marked the return of this Argentinian band after 10 years from their last concert together (they were separated in 1997 with the most iconic phrase

A country I would like to visit

Hello! Today I´m going to talk about Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country located in the Balkans. I´d like to visit Bosnia because I think that it´s a very interesting and beautiful country, with many historical places that have mainly Medieval and Ottoman architecture. I know that in Sarajevo (the capital of Bosnia), Gavrilo Princip killed the Austro-Hungarian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife in 1914, (this was one of the reasons that the First World War began). I would like to hike (this country has a lot of hills) and visit the different cities, especially Sarajevo (the historical place that began the First World War) or Mostar, the city with the most Ethnic groups living together (Croats, Bosniaks, Serbs, and others) with its beautiful Ottoman bridge, the “Stari Most” (reconstructed after the end of Bosnia´s war).  Finally, I would not live or study here because I think this is only a tourist country, besides I don´t speak their language and I would be too far from my fam
